Senior Product Manager

GoodHabitz
Netherlands · Full-time · Mid-Senior

GoodHabitz is an innovative, fast-growing organization on a mission to reshape corporate EdTech by creating world-class products that leverage cutting-edge technology. With a strong presence in Europe, we continuously strive to enhance our product offerings and expand our reach.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager with experience working in diverse international markets, including the U.S. and Asia. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile-first product strategy, user behavior, and competitive landscapes across multiple regions. While our current focus is on serving our European audience, we value insights from global markets to help shape our long-term.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a critical part of the GoodHabitz core product experience, with a strong focus on activation, engagement, and sustained usage across multiple user types.

This is not a single‑persona role. You will design for and balance; the needs of end learners, administrators and people managers.

Your role is to turn complexity into clarity and friction into momentum, shifting value delivery from manual, people‑led workflows to scalable, product‑led experiences. You will report to the Director of Product.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, owning user‑facing digital products
  • Proven experience working on products that serve multiple user types within the same system
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and drive clarity, focus, and outcomes.Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex systems and tradeoffs
  • Background in B2B SaaS, platforms, marketplaces, or learning products is a strong plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Systems Thinking: Able to reason through end‑to‑end journeys, feedback loops, and second‑order effects rather than isolated features
  • Outcome Orientation: Focused on solving real user and business problems, not just shipping functionality
  • Product Intuition: Able to form strong, reasoned points of view in ambiguous situations based on experience, understanding and awareness
  • Data‑Informed Decision Making: Uses data to learn and guide direction without waiting for perfect instrumentation
  • Clear Communication: Can explain complex ideas simply and align diverse stakeholders around a shared direction
  • Pragmatic Leadership: Balances ambition with sequencing, and progress with technical and organizational reality

Product Activation & Early Value

  • Own and improve the end‑to‑end journey from account creation to first meaningful learning activity
  • Define what "activation" means across different user types and design product experiences that reliably deliver it
  • Identify and remove friction in admin setup, learner onboarding, and first‑time use, shifting value delivery from manual to product‑led

Multi‑Persona Product Design

  • Design product experiences that serve multiple user types with different needs, incentives, and levels of control
  • Balance simplicity, flexibility, and scalability when building for admins configuring learning and learners consuming it
  • Ensure the product works effectively both as a standalone experience and when integrated into broader learning ecosystems (e.g. LMS environments)

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Actively contribute to product strategy by shaping problem definitions, opportunity framing, and long‑term direction within your domain
  • Own a product area as a mini‑business: articulate where to play, why it matters, and how success will be measured over time
  • Translate strategy into a roadmap, but treat the roadmap as a learning and communication tool — not a static delivery plan
  • Continuously test assumptions, learn from user behavior, and adapt product direction accordingly

Cross‑Functional Delivery & Alignment

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Content, Data, Customer Success, and Go‑To‑Market teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes
  • Clearly articulate the "why" behind product decisions and align stakeholders around a shared narrative
  • Support go‑to‑market efforts by ensuring product capabilities are understandable, usable, and valuable for customers

Measurement & Learning

  • Define and track success metrics that reflect real product value (activation, engagement, retention), not vanity usage
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide iteration and inform strategic decisions
  • Contribute to building a stronger product learning loop across the organization
