A product-minded analytics engineer with strong ML and data chops — someone who can define and build the analytics foundation for Blenda Labs. You’re a generalist who will own everything from data ingestion to insight visualization, combining data engineering with product design.
You’ll be the founding product engineer for our “Creative Intelligence” data studio. You'll define the roadmap, build the infrastructure, and establish how we use data across the organization.
We have a working v1 analytics system, but we need someone to own it, evolve it, and turn insights into strategic advantage. You'll work directly with our 3-person tech team (CTO + 2 developers) and creative teams to build dashboards and systems that answer: What content resonates? Why? What should we create next?
Product & Strategy
- Define the analytics roadmap: what insights matter most for creative and business decisions
- Translate ambiguous questions from creative teams into measurable, actionable analytics
- Prioritize features based on impact—balancing quick wins with long-term infrastructure
Data Engineering
- Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from multiple sources
- Design schemas that balance flexibility and performance
- Integrate APIs (social platforms, CMS systems, ML services)
- Scale our infrastructure from v1 to production-grade (Postgres/Supabase → possibly BigQuery)
Full-Stack Development
- Backend: Python (and some Node.js) for API integrations, data processing, and ML workflows
- Frontend: React Router v7 (Remix), TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui for dashboards
- Build intuitive visualizations using Recharts, D3, or tools like Superset/Metabase
Analytics & Insights
- Apply ML techniques: clustering, embeddings, trend detection (OpenAI APIs, scikit-learn)
- Surface patterns in content performance, audience behavior, and creative trends
- Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

- Backend Dev: Python, Node.js (for API integrations and ML jobs)
- Frontend Dev: React Router v7 (formerly Remix), TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
- Communications: can explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Hybrid role in Stockholm. We share office space with Epidemic Sound near Medborgarplatsen, Stockholm.
