Java FullStack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work independently and as part of a cross-country team to design, develop, test and implement web-based applications.
• Support Data and Insights team in migration of current reporting suite from vendor BI technology out to cloud.
• Mentor other team members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer to facilitate smooth technology stack change.
• Follow IT development methodologies, corporate information security aligned to product owner vision to ensure successful delivery with strict adherence to coding practices and the production of all necessary documentation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A proven track of record of delivering large scale web applications in full-stack roles with microservice based architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of Java (Java17+ preferrable) along with Spring/Springboot and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
• Experience of Google Cloud Platform products is a must.
• Experience in working with relational databases/data warehouses (e.g. PostgreSQL, BiqQuery, AlloyDB)
• Experience in working with Git and SCM systems (e.g. GitHub)
• Hand-on experience in end-to-end impact analysis, creating high and low level designs
• Experience in data visualisation (using tools like Apache ECharts) will be an advantage.
• Understanding of CI/CD, e.g. Jenkins
• Natural desire to share knowledge with ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy way.
