What are the main responsibilities of the ML & AI Engineer?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI and machine learning infrastructure in production environments,
• Build and manage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and related data pipelines,
• Deploy, version, and monitor machine learning and LLM-based models in collaboration with IT and infrastructure teams,
• Optimize inference performance, latency, and resource utilization,
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration layers to connect AI services with core banking systems and digital channels,
• Ensure AI solutions comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements,
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to operationalize analytical models and AI solutions.

What kind of knowledge and expertise should the ML & AI Engineer have?

• Graduated from a reputable university with a degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical fields,
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in backend development, machine learning engineering, or MLOps roles,
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API development,
• Experience in deploying machine learning models to production environments,
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization,
• Experience with vector databases or LLM-based systems is considered an asset,
• Ability to work closely with Information Technology and infrastructure teams,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
