Role Overview

One of our global AI-focused clients is seeking an experienced Python Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced ML solutions. This role requires both strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to guide ML initiatives from architecture to production.

You will work cross-functionally to translate business challenges into scalable machine learning systems while ensuring high performance, reliability, and measurable impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end ML solution development, including data pipelines, modeling, deployment, and monitoring
  • Translate business objectives into scalable ML architectures
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define problem statements and KPIs
  • Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to real-world problems
  • Develop solutions across time-series forecasting, NLP, computer vision, and statistical modeling
  • Optimize models for scalability, performance, and production reliability
  • Apply state-of-the-art research advancements where relevant


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on ML/DS experience
  • Strong expertise in Python and core libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with NLP, time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, and ML evaluation metrics
  • Strong knowledge of feature engineering, model tuning, and data preprocessing
  • Experience designing and deploying production-grade ML systems
  • Ability to apply appropriate modeling techniques to real-world business use cases


Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep learning expertise (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)
  • Experience with PySpark and Databricks
  • Experience with AWS or cloud-based ML platforms
  • Exposure to competitive ML environments (e.g., Kaggle, benchmark challenges)
  • Experience experimenting with new techniques from research publications


Engagement Details

  • Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)
  • Duration: 3 months (expected start next week)
  • Commitment: 20–40 hrs/week with 4-hour PST overlap
  • Location: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico
