Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead the Data Analytics and Budget & Performance Management functions within Retail Banking, supporting sustainable and data-driven growth.
The role ensures that business performance is managed through analytical insights, that budgeting and target-setting frameworks are effectively structured, and that executive decision-making is supported with high-quality analytics.
1) Data Analytics
- Design and manage the end-to-end data and business analytics framework for Retail Banking
- Establish reporting and analytics architecture to support decision-making
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and sustainability of KPIs, dashboards, and management reports
- Strengthen data integration to create a reliable and unified data perspective
- Prioritize analytical requests based on business impact
- Translate analytical outputs into actionable insights
- Contribute to data quality and reporting standards
- Drive efficiency improvements in analytics and BI processes
2) Budget & Performance Management
- Lead annual budgeting and target-setting processes for the business line
- Define and monitor financial and operational performance indicators
- Conduct target vs. actual analyses and recommend corrective actions
- Design sales and field performance frameworks (target structure, scorecards, incentive mechanisms)
- Optimize resource allocation through profitability and efficiency analyses
- Support strategic planning with scenario and projection analyses
- Evaluate campaign, product, and segment performance
- Coordinate executive and board-level performance reporting
- Structure and monitor strategic KPI frameworks
- Convert analytical insights into executive-level decision support materials (i.e. presentations)
Qualifications :
Experience & Leadership
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related industries
- Strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance management
- Retail Banking experience preferred
- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strategic mindset and results-oriented approach
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, etc.)
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience in analytical tools such as Python, SAS, or similar
- Experience in data modeling and dashboard development
- Experience working with large datasets
