About the Role

CNTXT AI is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager (Robotics) to lead the planning and execution of complex robotics and AI programs. This role is responsible for driving multidisciplinary teams across robotics engineering, AI/ML, data operations, and product delivery to ensure successful development and deployment of robotics systems. The ideal candidate has experience managing technical robotics projects involving hardware-software integration, perception pipelines, autonomy stacks, and real-world field testing.

Responsibilities

Robotics Program Execution

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for robotics initiatives, from early development through deployment
• Manage timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and execution across robotics and AI teams
• Coordinate integration of hardware, software, autonomy, and perception subsystems

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the execution bridge between robotics engineers, ML researchers, data teams, and external partners
• Drive alignment on technical requirements, deliverables, and system readiness
• Ensure smooth collaboration across internal labs and engineering functions

Technical Planning & Risk Management

• Develop detailed project plans for robotics builds, testing cycles, and iteration loops
• Identify technical and operational risks early, driving mitigation strategies
• Track dependencies across robotics hardware, firmware, simulation, and AI components

Testing & Deployment Coordination

• Oversee robotics validation efforts including:
• Field testing and lab experimentation
• Simulation-to-real transfer cycles
• Safety and reliability reviews
• Ensure deployment readiness for robotics systems operating in real environments

Process, Documentation & Reporting

• Establish execution frameworks, project governance, and program reporting
• Maintain clear documentation for schedules, requirements, decisions, and progress
• Communicate program status to leadership with transparency and technical depth

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical project or program management, ideally in robotics or autonomous systems
• Strong understanding of robotics development cycles including hardware/software integration
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams (robotics, AI/ML, embedded, data)
• Familiarity with robotics platforms and tools such as ROS/ROS2, perception stacks, autonomy pipelines
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Required Skills

• Experience managing projects involving humanoid robotics, manipulation systems, or autonomous navigation
• Exposure to AI-driven robotics workflows (computer vision, SLAM, reinforcement learning)
• Background in robotics lab environments with rapid prototyping and iterative field testing
• Familiarity with regulated or safety-critical robotics deployments
