Data Analyst (Power BI & Python)

We're looking for a Data analyst (Power BI & Python) to join one of our clients' teams.

Contract: Freelancer

Remote: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote

Duration: 3 months (renewable)

What are your responsabilities?

Reporting & Dashboard Ownership

• Own end-to-end dashboard development in Power BI.
• Manage data collection, transformation, modeling, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for processing, simulation, and optimization.
• Build scalable and robust data models for business-ready reporting.

Data Analysis & Profitability Insights

• Perform in-depth analysis of network usage and profitability.
• Deliver clear insights to improve capacity usage and operational performance.
• Prepare structured KPI reports for management.
• Analyze real-time performance and propose optimization actions.

Data Modeling & Governance

• Contribute to structured and scalable data model design.
• Identify data inconsistencies and improve overall data quality.
• Define and monitor Data Quality (DQ) rules in collaboration with IT.
• Clarify KPI definitions and align business and reporting logic.
• Support the transition from manual Excel processes to automated data solutions.

Capacity Forecasting & Optimization

• Build data-driven forecasts using historical data and seasonal trends.
• Develop optimization strategies balancing capacity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Support long-term performance and profitability improvements.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence.

Advanced proficiency in:

• Excel
• Power BI
• Python

• Strong knowledge of data modeling principles.
• Experience in data governance and data quality management.
• Experience working in low-maturity data environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business action.
• Affinity with capacity planning, forecasting, or yield management.

Languages:

• English – mandatory
• Dutch and/or French – strong asset
