In this critical role, you will play a key part in scaling up cross-border payment solutions with financial institutions. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, generate leads, and build a strong client pipeline. Your expertise in the sales lifecycle within the financial sector will be essential in driving our mission to deliver seamless remittances for businesses and individuals worldwide. Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales plans to target financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and implementation teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Deliver new clients and contract renewals consistent with targets.
  • Nurture client relationships throughout lengthy sales cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development experience in payments, preferably within a bank.
  • 5+ years of experience in cross-border payments, including remittances.
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies and ability to present results.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing complex negotiations and structured deals.
  • Strong analytical skills and capacity to interpret sales data and customer insights.
  • Proven pipeline management and ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with C-suite management level experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
