Accountabilities
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to target financial institutions.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and implementation teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Deliver new clients and contract renewals consistent with targets.
- Nurture client relationships throughout lengthy sales cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of business development experience in payments, preferably within a bank.
- 5+ years of experience in cross-border payments, including remittances.
- Experience with structured sales methodologies and ability to present results.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex negotiations and structured deals.
- Strong analytical skills and capacity to interpret sales data and customer insights.
- Proven pipeline management and ability to exceed sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with C-suite management level experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
