Software Engineer

What You'll Work On

You will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team responsible for:

• Improving and maintaining Windows‑based software running on laboratory instruments
• Updating and maintaining Windows system images and PC configurations
• Implementing cybersecurity‑related updates and hardening existing platforms
• Delivering bug fixes, small feature enhancements, and quality improvements
• Contributing to DevOps pipelines, build processes, and release activities
• Supporting documentation, compliance tasks, and "light" Scrum Master duties as needed

Must‑Have Skills

• Strong C# and .NET Framework development experience
• Solid debugging skills for Windows desktop applications
• Ability to work with and troubleshoot physical hardware devices on site (4 days/week minimum)

• Experience (or strong interest) in Windows image creation and Windows PC configuration
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, especially Azure Pipelines
• Working knowledge of SQL databases
• Comfortable performing non‑development tasks such as documentation, test coordination, or light Scrum facilitation
