Job Description:

My client, a large multinational firm, is looking for an experienced Web Developer with a strong background in JavaScript frameworks and experience developing large eCommerce sites. This is a permanent role with a hybrid work setup.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain large-scale eCommerce websites using modern web technologies.
• Utilise JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to build dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimise web performance and ensure applications are scalable and secure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to enhance functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in web development are followed.
• Assist in integrating third-party APIs and services into web applications.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development with a focus on large-scale eCommerce platforms.
• Proven expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with backend technologies like Node.js, as well as working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Previous involvement in the full software development life cycle for large web applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript standards and best practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of SEO principles and techniques for enhancing website visibility.
• Knowledge of web security practices and frameworks.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Educational Requirements:

• A third-level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
