Summary Description:

Cybersecurity Specialist (SecOps) focused on end-to-end vulnerability management across on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and containerized environments. The role is hands-on and operational, supporting identification, analysis, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities, working closely with infrastructure, cloud, platform, and application teams in complex enterprise environments.

Requirements Description:

The client seeks a security professional with practical experience in vulnerability management and security operations who can support risk reduction across diverse technology environments. The role requires collaboration with multiple technical teams and clear communication of remediation guidance.


Tasks Description:

  • Own vulnerability findings end-to-end: identification, analysis, prioritization, remediation support, validation, and closure
  • Monitor and manage vulnerabilities from scanning tools and security platforms
  • Validate findings to reduce false positives and confirm exploitability
  • Prioritize vulnerabilities using risk-based criteria (risk, exposure, asset criticality)
  • Provide clear remediation guidance to technical teams
  • Coordinate remediation activities and track closure progress
  • Validate remediation via re-scanning or verification
  • Improve scanning coverage and data quality
  • Support reporting, dashboards, and audit evidence
  • Collaborate with incident response teams when needed


Essential Skills/Experience Description:

  • 3–5+ years in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise vulnerability scanning tools
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and attack techniques
  • Solid understanding of CVSS and risk-based remediation
  • Experience working with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
  • Practical knowledge of container security and cloud environments
  • Ability to analyze scan results and system configurations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills


Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:

  • Offensive security or penetration testing training/certifications
  • Recognized security certifications
  • Cloud security certifications
  • Experience with CSPM or container security tools
  • Experience in large-scale or regulated environments
  • Analytical, risk-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Process improvement mindset within vulnerability management
