SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Emagine is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a strategic project in Lisbon. This role will be key in ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and performance across cloud-based environments, with a strong focus on observability and DevOps culture.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain observability platforms, with strong focus on Elastic Stack (ELK).
• Implement and maintain cloud-based service infrastructures (AWS and/or Azure).
• Manage container orchestration environments (Kubernetes).
• Support Kafka-based architectures and monitoring solutions (Prometheus).
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
• Work within DevOps culture, collaborating closely with development and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Java.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of distributed systems.
• Apply ITIL and Agile practices in operational processes.

You bring:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles, with strong focus on ELK stack.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining observability platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Kafka, Prometheus, and N8N.
• Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certification.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
