PHP Developer with French

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with solid experience in PHP 5 and PHP 7,

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable with legacy and modern PHP codebases, and able to communicate effectively in both English and French.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications using PHP 5 and PHP 7.
• Write clean, structured, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Work within Linux/WSL environments for development, debugging, and deployment tasks.
• Use PuTTY or similar SSH tools to access and manage remote servers.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
• Manage code versioning, branching, and merging using Git.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system stability.
• Integrate internal and external APIs.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer (2–5+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PHP 5, PHP 7, and OOP principles.
• Experience working in Linux or WSL environments.
• Ability to use PuTTY or other SSH tools for server access.
• Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with shell scripting or basic Linux automation.
• Knowledge of PHP security best practices.
• Experience working with legacy PHP applications.
