Software Verification & QA Specialist

In this role, you will ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of software by conducting thorough verification and quality assurance processes. You will work across backend, frontend, and DevOps tasks, analyzing technical documentation, executing software builds, and validating functionality against requirements. The position combines manual and automated testing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to maintain high software standards. You will collaborate with team members and clients to understand requirements and provide timely feedback. The role requires adaptability, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Your work will directly contribute to delivering dependable software solutions and enhancing user experience.

Accountabilities

• Conduct software verification and QA processes to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Execute software builds across multiple programming languages and diagnose any build issues.
• Perform manual and automated testing of application features across various scenarios.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or inconsistencies to maintain high-quality standards.
• Analyze technical documentation to understand requirements, dependencies, and build processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Support backend, frontend, and DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Continuously improve verification processes and stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to software QA.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of development or DevOps experience.
• 2+ years working with Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.
• Basic knowledge of backend languages such as Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP.
• Familiarity with database and server configurations (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Git version control and build tools (msbuild, webpack, maven, or similar).
• Basic understanding of frontend languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API configuration.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve software issues.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients.
• Ability to adapt to multiple programming environments and quickly learn new technologies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
