Network and Security Engineer

We are currently looking for a Network and Security Engineer to join our team.

Location: Remote, Portugal.

Required skills:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, or similar areas;
  • Min. 5 years of experience as a Network and Security Engineer;
  • Experience with Fortinet (min. 3 years);
  • Experience with Cisco (min. 5 years);
  • Experience upgrading firewall clusters, changing firewall policies;
  • Experience implementing IPSEC and SSL;
  • Experience troubleshooting (L2 issues);
  • Experience with Cisco DNA (Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Wireless Access Points, and Cisco Switches);
  • Experience with incident/change procedures (ITIL4);
  • Experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless technology, Firewalls and Security terminology;
  • Experience in automation (API and EEM Scripts);
  • Experience with Zscaler (plus);
  • Experience writing documentation (instructions, technical support documents and network design diagrams);
  • CCNP certification;
  • Fortinet NSE4 certification;
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail;
  • Analytic professional, with critical thinking;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written), Spanish is a plus.
