Research Engineer

Project Title: Research Institute for Resource Management and Sustainability

To provide high quality research and management support to the funded projects under the Research Institute for Resource Management and Sustainability, thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.

Operational Responsibilities

• Support director of the Institute to reinforce the Institute’s leadership in the global innovation and technology ecosystem in the fields of Resource Management and Sustainability.
• Support director of the Institute by coordinating strategic partnerships with industry, academia, and government to foster collaboration and develop funded projects.
• Support faculty of the Institute in scientific research as a professionally responsible member of the research team.
• Plan and manage events of the Institute, such as conferences and seminars, and strengthen Institute’s brand visibility.
• Provide inputs and participate in problem definition, documentation and reporting of results and progress, maintenance of research records and compliance to all established policies and procedures.
• Participate in writing grant applications and proposals that pertain to the research of the Institute.
• Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, report breaches or other security risks accordingly.

A Master’s degree from a top research university in any science/engineering discipline
