DevOps Engineer

About the Role:


We are seeking a talented individual to join a team in a hybrid working model. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Android projects, developing automated testing frameworks, and ensuring software quality through best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Development:
    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android projects.
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated build and deployment processes.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.

  • Automated Testing:
    • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test cases for various software solutions, including Android applications.
    • Ensure complete test coverage for all new and existing features.
    • Run automated tests and analyze the results.

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and apply best practices in software quality and testing.
    • Perform code reviews and provide feedback.
    • Conduct manual testing if necessary.

  • Feature Testing:
    • Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements for new features.
    • Develop plans and test cases for new features.
    • Run tests and provide detailed reports on performance and feature quality.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps engineer, QA engineer, or test engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Espresso, JUnit).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Fluency in German is appreciated.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, S3) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Kustomize) is a plus.
  • Understanding of performance testing and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and practices.
