About the Role:
We are seeking a talented individual to join a team in a hybrid working model. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Android projects, developing automated testing frameworks, and ensuring software quality through best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android projects.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated build and deployment processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Automated Testing:
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test cases for various software solutions, including Android applications.
- Ensure complete test coverage for all new and existing features.
- Run automated tests and analyze the results.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and apply best practices in software quality and testing.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback.
- Conduct manual testing if necessary.
- Feature Testing:
- Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements for new features.
- Develop plans and test cases for new features.
- Run tests and provide detailed reports on performance and feature quality.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer, QA engineer, or test engineer.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Espresso, JUnit).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Fluency in German is appreciated.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, S3) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Kustomize) is a plus.
- Understanding of performance testing and monitoring tools.
- Experience with agile methodologies and practices.
