We are looking for our future Graduate, Software Development Engineer to join our Product Development team in Sandyford - Dublin.
The role is offered hybrid (2 days remote - 3 days on-site / week) and is based in our Dublin office in Sandyford.

The Resmed Product Development team are passionate about innovation and technology, putting the customer at the heart of everything they do to help improve our patients quality of life.
We are a healthy mix of, technologists, biomedical algorithm engineers, software, v&v and systems engineers. We develop the most innovative and cutting edge therapy solutions for our patients.
This is a software engineering position, driving and supporting cross functional efforts to bring Resmed’s products and services to market. You will have the opportunity to get involved across the various different projects and technical stacks including embedded medical software written in C++, cloud services and beyond. Above all your ability to work autonomously, flexibly and deliver results will ensure your success in this role.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the graduate software engineer are:
- Contribute to software development in various technical domains, such as:
- Automation and Continuous Integration Platforms
- Firmware and Embedded Systems
- C++ and Python Development
- Medical-grade Software Development Processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biomedical algorithm engineers, v&v engineers and systems engineers, to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
- Engage in projects from concept to market delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Undergrad/Masters/PhD in Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or cognate field
- Experience with version control tools and processes (Git/SVN)
- Experience in 1 or more software technologies listed above (C++ preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly, and prioritise workload effectively
- Enjoys working in a team
- Creative and innovative attitude towards problem solving
- Always seeks win/win situations - analytical, creative, takes the initiative
- Demonstrates vision of end goal and ability to communicate same to team
- High energy and commitment – “does what it takes” attitude
- Motivates and lead by example
- A mind-set for innovation and collaboration. You will be proposing new ideas and thinking about how to impact patient experience and transform healthcare
