Overview

We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation in Dublin seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical network environments within a modern and evolving technical landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and optimise Cisco Routing & Switching environments.
• Deploy and maintain Next Generation Firewall solutions.
• Configure and support F5 Load Balancers across production environments.
• Drive network automation initiatives to improve efficiency and resilience.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Proven experience with Next Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower).
• Experience configuring and supporting F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM).
• Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP).
• Experience working within enterprise-scale environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
