EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organization seeking an HR Events & Logistics Coordinator to design and deliver high-quality, in-person learning events across Europe, the UK, and North America.
The HR Events & Logistics Coordinator will deliver high-quality, in-person learning events that support talent and family development across Family HR’s programs and learning curriculum.
You'll understand learning objectives and co-create engaging, well-executed participant experiences delivered across multiple international locations.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll own the planning and delivery of approximately 15 international learning events per year, working closely with senior stakeholders, program leads, and external partners.
Regular international travel is required; weekend work and odd hours during event delivery periods, and flexible working are a must.
This position is based in the Amsterdam HQ.
Responsibilities of HR Events & Logistics Coordinator:
- Responsible for building and maintaining the annual events roadmap
- Manage the delivery of multiple complex events
- Translate learning objectives into agendas, formats, and room/environment design
- Identify, liaise, contract, and coordinate with external partners and suppliers
- Manage required internal coordination across different functions within the business
- Manage all communication and logistics coordination with event participants
- Manage event budgets, arranging payments and Po’s/invoices
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, communicate changes early, and keep decision makers informed
- Be flexible and plan for work on weekends/flexible hours, and for international travel for reconnaissance and event execution
Experience Required:
- Bachelor/HBDO in Business, Events Management, Hospitality Management
- 3-6 years’ experience with end-to-end event/project management with international execution
- Previous experience working with large hotels, venues, or conferences in roles managing projects, operations, or events
- Demonstrated success coordinating external and internal vendors and teams
- Highly organized, service-oriented, strong team player, who thrives in an open and honest team culture
- Regular international travel (as needed for ~15 events/year); weekend work and different working hours required during event delivery periods; flexible schedule around event cycles
- Fluent in English - Fluent Dutch or German would be advantageous
