Senior Blockchain Developer (EVM)

We are recruiting for our client, a high-performing tech company based in the Canton of Vaud, seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer to join a demanding blockchain team and contribute to the architecture and evolution of mature DeFi protocols within a fast-paced startup environment.

You will join an experienced team of 4 blockchain developers with a key objective: strengthen EVM expertise and actively contribute to architectural decisions on live products supported by a robust and high-quality codebase.

Responsibilities :

• Design, architect, and implement Solidity smart contracts for existing and upcoming DeFi protocols
• Contribute to architecture decisions and translate product requirements into robust technical solutions
• Manage deployment, maintenance, and evolution of smart contracts
• Implement and maintain unit and fuzz testing
• Ensure a high level of smart contract security
• Collaborate on a complex and high-quality codebase (~90k lines of code)
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and technical mentorship within the team

Profile :

• Several years of experience in blockchain development, with strong expertise in EVM and Solidity
• Proven track record in developing, testing, and securing smart contracts
• Solid understanding of DeFi protocols (direct DeFi experience is a plus but not mandatory)
• Experience with demanding technical environments (Foundry required; Rust tooling is a plus)
• Comfortable in an agile startup environment with evolving priorities and high execution pace
• Able to challenge ideas constructively, propose trade-offs, and participate in architectural debates
• Natural technical leadership with a low-ego, collaborative mindset
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus
