Android Software Engineer - Automotive Infotainment

We are looking for a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our client developing next-generation automotive infotainment and embedded Android platforms.

If you are passionate about Android development, enjoy working close to hardware, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality engineering environment — this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Java/Kotlin
  • Work with AOSP and the AOSP build system
  • Design scalable solutions using modern Android architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
  • Build and maintain UI components using traditional Android frameworks (Jetpack Compose is a plus)
  • Implement robust testing strategies (Unit, Instrumentation, UI & E2E testing)
  • Collaborate in a Linux-based development environment
  • Contribute to CI/CD and version control workflows (Git & Gerrit)

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Software Engineering (or 5+ years of relevant experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience in Android app development (Java/Kotlin)
  • Experience with AOSP and Android build systems
  • Solid knowledge of: JUnit & Mockk ,Espresso, End-to-End testing frameworks
  • Experience with Python scripting
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments
  • Strong Git knowledge; experience with Gerrit is required

Meritorious

  • Experience in Automotive Infotainment or large-scale embedded Android platforms
  • Swedish B driver’s license
