PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Boden, Sweden

Contract duration: 18 months (Renewable)

Start Date: March 2026

Project: Manufacturing plant design

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large‑scale industrial work packages within our green steel megaproject. You will oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and predictable execution.

The position would be located in Boden, Sweden on a full time basis, Monday - Friday, so this is a role that would require relocation. All in day rate to be discussed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of assigned project scopes, owning cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Coordinate internal engineering, project controls, construction teams, and external contractors.
• Drive progress through structured planning (L3–L5 schedules) and robust governance.
• Manage contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, technical, commercial, and timeline requirements.
• Identify risks early, implement mitigation actions, and escalate issues as required.
• Maintain alignment across interfaces and adjacent work packages.
• Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience delivering major industrial, manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in project management across design and execution phases of large industrial construction projects.
• Skilled in cost control, scheduling, risk management, and change control.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in multicultural or matrix environments.
• Fluent in English
• Degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with underground piping is a strong advantage.
