Qualifications
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with extensive hands-on experience in Laravel, Livewire, and LAMP stack technologies.
- Strong understanding of test-driven development methodologies, including experience with PHPUnit and feature testing.
- Experience managing Linux-based servers and working with MySQL databases, preferably within an AWS environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience managing deployment tasks using tools such as Jenkins or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain a bespoke in-house software platform, ensuring code quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Build clean, efficient solutions using PHP and Laravel, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Work with modern technology stacks, including TALL (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) and LAMP, to deliver responsive and high-performing applications.
- Optimize applications for performance across mobile and tablet devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions effectively.
- Integrate external systems and APIs to extend platform capabilities and improve functionality.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and continuous improvement processes to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
- Maintain documentation of code, processes, and system configurations to support ongoing development and troubleshooting.
