Key Responsibilities

Digital application delivery

• Design, develop, document, and maintain digital banking applications
• Conduct testing, debugging, and system optimisation
• Perform system analysis and programming to support software lifecycle management
• Contribute to workflow diagrams, documentation, and user manuals

Business & stakeholder engagement

• Liaise with business units to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Support internal and external customers with product queries and system requests
• Maintain SLA performance and strong cross-functional relationships

Governance & process excellence

• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and ISO 27001 information security requirements
• Provide data to audit, compliance, and risk teams when required
• Promote cost efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Competencies

• Strong programming and analytical problem-solving capability
• Experience working in Agile environments and digital banking systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and client/server architectures
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organisational skills

Technical expertise in:

• RDBMS and PL/SQL
• Core Java / J2EE
• Microservices architecture and modern development practices
• Web frameworks (Angular, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, Spring Boot)
• Mobile development (iOS, Android, Flutter or Kony)
• MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services with exposure to web or mobile application development
• Relevant technical certifications or training in programming and banking software are advantageous
