Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Data & AI (Capex Initiatives)

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic Data and AI Capex initiatives, with full ownership from project inception through successful closure. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder and vendor ecosystems within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end ownership of Data and AI project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
• Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
• Drive Agile project governance, including sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking, and progress reporting using JIRA.
• Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely status updates, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and informed decision-making.
• Oversee vendor coordination, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
• Track Capex spend, benefits realization, and delivery milestones for Data and AI initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI programs, preferably within banking or financial services environments.
• Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics frameworks, and AI-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes and deliver under tight timelines and regulatory constraints.
• Proven expertise in Agile delivery models, JIRA, and cross-functional collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills to drive alignment across technology and business teams.
• Solid experience managing Capex-funded Data and AI initiatives, including governance and financial oversight.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Banking experience within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
• Direct experience working with banks in Qatar is highly desirable.
