Job Title: AI Automation & Operations Engineer

Location: Remote (Eastern Europe, Europe)

Schedule: Full-time | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (US Eastern overlap required)

Compensation: $7–$15 per hour (based on experience)

The Role

We are looking for a strong AI Automation & Operations Engineer who can both build systems and think operationally.

Your mission is to streamline and automate operations across our core departments:

- Onboarding

- Implementation

- Customer Support

- Payroll & Tax

This is not just a coding role. We need someone who understands how businesses operate, identifies inefficiencies, and builds practical AI-driven solutions to improve speed, quality, and scalability.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 60–90 days:

- Support response quality and efficiency improves

- AI chat and automation handle repetitive customer issues

- Internal tools reduce manual work for teams

- A living SOP and training system is built and actively used

- Processes become faster, clearer, and more scalable

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation

- Build AI-powered customer support tools (chatbots, auto-replies, case handling)

- Implement AI workflows using APIs (OpenAI/LLMs or similar)

- Create internal automation to reduce manual work across departments

Internal Tools Development

- Develop internal tools using our stack:

- Node.js

- React

- Full JavaScript ecosystem

- Build integrations with ticketing systems, chat platforms, and internal workflows

Operations Optimization

- Analyze operational processes and identify inefficiencies

- Design and implement automation to improve speed and quality

- Work closely with leadership to prioritize high-impact improvements

SOP & Knowledge Systems

- Build systems to capture and manage SOPs

- Use AI to analyze calls, emails, and cases

- Automatically suggest or update documentation and training content

Requirements

Technical

- Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript

- Experience building full-stack applications (React preferred)

- Experience working with AI/LLM APIs or AI automation tools

- Experience building integrations, workflows, or internal tools

Operational Mindset

- Ability to understand business workflows and operational needs

- Think independently and propose solutions

- Able to execute direction and deliver reliably

Nice to Have

- Experience with payroll, fintech, or SaaS operations

- Experience with AI agents or workflow automation tools (Make, Zapier, n8n, etc.)

- Experience with support systems, ticketing, or customer operations
