Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debugA skilled Data Engineer with strong Business Intelligence (BI) expertise to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and deliver actionable insights through BI tools. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical data engineering skills and a business-oriented approach to data analysis, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. Provide technical leadership to other developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Required Technology Skill Set: (Must have )

Language : Python

Data base Programing : PLSQL or SQL , Oracle ADW or DB

Data Engineering tools : Oracle data Integrator , Oracle Data flow

Cloud Technology : Azure or Oracle

Analytical tools : Oracle cloud Analytics

Good to have : Azure data factory , Data bricks , snowflake and Power BI

Responsibilities

Data Engineering with BI Expertise Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Data Modeling: Build and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and business applications.
• Database Management: Administer and optimize SQL /PLSQL Queries (e.g., Oracle ADW )
• Integration: Collaborate with other team members to integrate data solutions into operational systems.
• Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and adhere to data governance best practices.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., OAC, Power BI).
• Data Analysis: Translate raw data into actionable insights to support business decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide insights that align with business goals.
• Performance Metrics: Design and track key performance indicators (KPIs) / data metrics/ operational metrics for various business functions.
• Training: Train business users on BI tools and empower them to perform self-service analytics
