About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with strong experience in virtualization, directory services, cloud environments, and enterprise server administration. In this role, you’ll support and optimize core infrastructure, improve system reliability, modernize environments, and play a critical part in supporting global teams.

This is the perfect position for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with a modern Microsoft‑centered stack.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and optimize VMware environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Administer Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, identity management, and group policy
• Support and maintain Windows Server environments across production and staging platforms
• Implement and manage Azure cloud services, virtual machines, and hybrid integrations
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts
• Support infrastructure automation, documentation, and best‑practice improvements
• Collaborate with global IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Maintain security standards and ensure compliance across systems and environments

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration
• Experience managing and maintaining Windows Server environments
• Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and cloud services
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise infrastructure issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a remote environment
• Ability to manage priorities and self‑direct in a distributed team structure
