IT SECURITY ASSISTANT MANAGER

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security
• Strong background in managing and responding to security incidents, and implementing security frameworks and technologies
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies, such as endpoint security solutions, firewalls, VPNs, and Web&Mail Filtering systems
• Demonstrated experience managing outsourced security providers and vendor relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions under pressure
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred
• Knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with cloud-based security tools
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to security improvements and risk management
• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management, and encryption standards
• Excellent command of English

Job Description

• Leading day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Definining, developing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective controls and compliance.
• Ensuring robust access management and identity management practices are implemented and maintained across the organization.
• Managing outsourced security providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and security standards are upheld.
• Acting as the main point of contact with external vendors, reviewing and assessing third-party risks and security measures.
• Optimizing security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus solutions, mail filtering systems.
• Collaborating with IT teams to integrate security tools and maintain visibility across network, endpoint, and application layers.
• Developing a security roadmap, outlining investments in new tools, technologies, and services needed to enhance the organization’s security capabilities.
• Preparing and managing the security budget, ensuring investments align with business objectives and risk management strategies.
• Conducting periodic risk assessments and adjust strategies to mitigate emerging security threats.
• Collaborating with legal, compliance, and internal audit teams to establish a strong governance framework.
• Leading the development and delivery of security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices and security policies.
• Supporting departments in implementing security training that meets specific regulatory or operational needs.
