Product Manager - Sydney or Melbourne | Hybrid

Join a leading enterprise software provider delivering mission-critical platforms to insurers across Australia. This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on Product Manager to work directly with major customers, shaping solutions that support complex operational environments and high-value transactions.

This role focuses on delivering enhancements and solutions within an existing multi-customer platform while a separate strategic program defines the future consolidated product. You will engage closely with customers to understand current needs, translate those into clear requirements, and feed prioritised work into one or two engineering squads. It’s a pragmatic, execution-focused role suited to someone comfortable operating within constraints and balancing competing demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows, challenges, and enhancement needs

• Lead discovery sessions to clarify requirements and define practical solutions

• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and delivery-ready backlog items

• Prioritise work across customers and squads to maximise value and manage trade-offs

• Partner closely with engineering teams to scope effort and support delivery

• Coordinate with Technical Project Managers to ensure smooth execution

• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customers, product, and commercial teams

• Support the platform’s evolution toward the future strategic roadmap

Requirements:

• Proven Product Management experience in enterprise or B2B software environments

• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to build trusted relationships

• Experience defining solutions within technical or legacy constraints

• Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage complex stakeholder landscapes

• Comfortable working closely with engineering teams in a delivery context

• Strong communication skills and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous requirements
