Lead Unity Developer

Our client is an innovative tech company creating advanced simulations and visualizations to help engineers, operators, and decision-makers reduce risk and explore new possibilities. They focus on transforming industries with powerful simulations of underwater environments and sustainable cities through digital twins.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse team of engineers to develop and maintain the Unity-based graphics platform and Sandbox product.
• Set the technical direction for the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and the evolving needs of our customers.
• Mentor and coach engineers to help them grow as technical experts while maintaining an inclusive and transparent engineering culture.
• Collaborate with other department leaders and stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure the successful delivery of the product.
• Provide guidance and support in resolving technical challenges, fostering peer accountability, and promoting innovation within the team.
• Continuously push the technology to new frontiers, exploring creative solutions for complex simulations and visualizations.

Requirements:

• Experience in programming with languages such as C#, C++, Java, and Python.
• Proven years of experience in leading diverse engineering teams, with a proven ability to mentor and develop technical talent.
• Strong skills in setting the technical vision and direction for projects in an agile development environment.
• Strong communication skills, effectively engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in high-performance, real-time simulation or gaming environments is a plus.
