A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, your day starts with collaborating closely with development, product management, and customer support teams to understand software requirements. You will define test strategies and validate that the software functions as expected, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product that meets customer needs and business goals.

Throughout the day, you will create comprehensive test plans, design and develop both manual and automated test cases, and execute various types of testing including functional, performance, and security testing. Your role is crucial in identifying and documenting software defects, collaborating with developers to prioritize resolutions, and preparing detailed reports on testing progress.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Collaborate with development teams to create and execute test plans based on project requirements
  • Design and develop manual and automated test cases for functional, performance, and regression testing
  • Perform various testing types, including usability and API testing, to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify and track software defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating with developers for timely resolutions
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of QA processes and stay updated on emerging testing practices


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., TFS, Jira, TestRail) and familiarity with Agile methodologies
