Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful and actionable insights that support decision-making for B2B stakeholders and management within the EBU department.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, build and run dashboards allowing B2B stakeholders and management to monitor our commercial performance and define potential corrective actions
• Answer business analytics requests and translate them into data requirements:

• Identify the “Why” behind each business request
• Solve well-defined problems and applies existing methods and tools to business problems
• Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets by implementing the most appropriate statistical method / data model
• Create reports and data visualizations to communicate insights to internal customers
• Work on data cleaning, data validation, and exploratory data analysis
• Explain the result coming out of the analysis and facilitate the decision making

• Contribute to the overall efficiency by developing a Power BI environment, data marts and procedures that further automate the delivery of recurrent reports and analyses, from data extraction to visualization.
• Contribute in improving structurally the quality and the freshness of the data sources by communicating quality issues to data engineers and data governance manager and monitoring the progress.
• Suggest new types of data analyses and visualization methods and contribute to the data acculturation of the company.

Your profile:

• Diploma in a quantitative area: engineer, commercial engineer, economics, statistics, maths or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a commercial department, marketing, or a closely related field
• Knowledge of expert data handling techniques and data software languages: R, Python, SQL, Cognos, MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in Data visualization and data analysis (Power BI, GCP,...)
• Experience in telco and knowledge of B2B market would be a plus
• Communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a context of tight deadlines
• Fluent English, and French or Dutch
