Senior CLI Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented Senior Engineer to join our team and drive the evolution of our CLI tools for secure AI software development. Responsibilities

• Make key technical decisions to improve the CLI’s architecture and ensure its long-term scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create intuitive developer workflows for complex security capabilities
• Enable other engineering teams to deliver CLI functionality faster and more consistently
• Lead initiatives to improve the reliability and predictability of the CLI across diverse real-world usage patterns
• Promote high standards in code quality, design reviews, and technical documentation
• Mentor and support engineers, sharing best practices for building developer-facing platforms
• Use data, user feedback, and workflows to continuously refine and validate CLI behavior and design decisions

Requirements

• Proven experience building and maintaining developer tooling that integrates into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows
• Deep expertise in Go, with the ability to work effectively in TypeScript as needed
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD ecosystems such as Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI (Orbs), Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Maven, or Jenkins
• Ability to design robust solutions for constrained, ephemeral, and highly automated environments
• Strong systems-thinking skills with experience reasoning about compatibility, evolution, and long-term maintenance
• Clear and thoughtful communication skills, including the ability to document technical decisions and architectural constraints to ensure organizational buy-in

Nice to have

• Familiarity with secure coding practices and vulnerability prevention in development workflows
• Experience working in AI-native software development environments
• Knowledge of building consensus and navigating competing priorities across diverse product teams
• Exposure to designing workflows that prioritize developer experience and ease of use

Salary range €4.2K-€6K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
