We are looking for an Operations Engineer to support deployments (including outside business hours), manage configurations, and ensure smooth operations of the payment engine platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support application deployments during non-business hours as required.
- Manage configurations and ensure stability of the production environment.
- Provide operational support for the payment engine and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-premise server and virtual machine (VM) related issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address CPU, memory, and disk-related issues.
- Create and manage monitoring dashboards and alerts using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, manage artifacts, and enforce branch policies.
- Contribute proactively to system improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong DevOps expertise with hands-on experience in Linux environments.
- Solid system administration knowledge, including troubleshooting CPU, memory, and disk performance issues.
- Experience managing on-prem servers and VM environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, including writing playbooks, understanding roles, and module concepts.
- Practical experience with Grafana (dashboard creation and alert configuration).
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, including writing PromQL queries, configuring alerts, and understanding metrics ingestion.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, troubleshooting, artifacts management, and branch policies.
- Familiarity with Bash and/or Python scripting.
- Good understanding of database concepts and RDBMS fundamentals (indexes, keys, etc.).
