We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our Digital Products & Software Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that meet stringent regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver innovative mobile solutions that comply with GxP quality guidelines and data privacy regulations.

As a Principal iOS Developer, you will take ownership of the iOS development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and architectural patterns. Your work will directly impact patient care and healthcare outcomes, requiring the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance.

Key responsibilities include developing native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks, implementing secure data handling and privacy controls, integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services, and ensuring applications meet App Store guidelines and submission requirements. You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior developers when needed.

This position requires working in a heavily regulated environment where attention to detail, compliance with quality standards, and understanding of data privacy requirements are paramount. You will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

✔️ Requirements:

• Experience (5+ years) working with iOS development (Swift, Objective-C)
• Experience from OR knowledge of how to work in a heavily regulated environment with stringent compliance requirements, such as GxP quality guidelines and regulations applied in the pharmaceutical industry
• Extensive knowledge of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Ability to use Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools for mobile development
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER)
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Very high working ethics
• Being a team player

✔️ Data Privacy Requirements:

• Understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements and implementation in mobile applications
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy by design principles
• Experience with secure data storage, encryption, and keychain management on iOS
• Understanding of user consent management and privacy policy implementation
• Knowledge of data anonymization and pseudonymization techniques
• Experience with secure data transmission (TLS/SSL, certificate pinning)
• Understanding of data retention policies and secure data deletion
• Knowledge of privacy impact assessments (PIA) and data protection impact assessments (DPIA)
• Understanding of cross-border data transfer regulations
• Experience with implementing privacy controls and user data access rights (right to access, right to deletion, etc.)
• Knowledge of Apple's App Privacy requirements and App Tracking Transparency framework
