About the Role

This Mobile Application Developer position is tailored for a professional with a passion for gaming and expertise in building high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile gaming applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and backend developers to translate creative concepts into functional, interactive mobile games.
• Implement and optimize game mechanics, animations, and user interfaces using industry-standard frameworks such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, in-app purchases, and social features to enhance game functionality and monetization.
• Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure stability and responsiveness across a wide range of mobile devices.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile gaming, platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve product offerings.
• Collaborate in agile development cycles, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Monitor app performance post-release, gather user feedback, and implement updates or patches as needed to maintain player engagement and satisfaction.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications for both iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) platforms, with a strong portfolio of published apps, preferably in the gaming sector.
• Proficiency with cross-platform game development engines such as Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints), including experience with 2D and 3D game development.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, touch interactions, and responsive design tailored for gaming experiences.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, cloud services, and real-time multiplayer features into mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app lifecycle management, including app store submission processes, version control (Git), and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with mobile graphics optimization, memory management, and device compatibility best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to hybrid work arrangements, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability in both remote and in-office settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field is typically expected.
• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with at least 1 year focused on gaming applications.
• Demonstrated experience with the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and post-launch support.
• Certifications in mobile development or game development (e.g., Unity Certified Developer) are advantageous.
