Location: Philadelphia, PA

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Web Developer to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for recent Computer Science or related technical graduates with strong programming fundamentals who are eager to grow in a collaborative, professional development environment.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, receive structured mentorship, and gain hands-on experience contributing to real-world applications. This role offers contract-to-hire potential based on performance. Local candidates or those willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web applications
• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional team members
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Assist in building scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Support documentation and technical deliverables
• Complete assigned development tasks with guidance and mentorship
• Continuously learn and apply best practices and new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (strongly preferred), Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 0–2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, and academic projects count)
• Strong foundation in one or more programming languages, such as: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript
• Demonstrated understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming

Technical Skills (Preferred Exposure)

• Experience or academic exposure to the following is helpful but not required:
• Frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or React Native
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• SQL Server or other relational databases
• Application performance, scalability, security, and testing concepts
• Common design and architectural patterns
• Agile or Scrum development methodologies
