About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join Bright Purple Resourcing’s expanding Cloud Engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, secure, and cloud-native applications that meet the high standards of our diverse client base across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions within a modern Microsoft environment, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client requirements.

This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership of projects, collaborating with architects and stakeholders, and delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be integral to shaping technical strategies, leading development efforts, and supporting deployment and post-deployment activities to optimize system performance and security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong understanding of C# and the .NET framework.
• Active SC Clearance is essential, demonstrating a background suitable for working on secure projects.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Solid knowledge of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-native applications using the Microsoft technology stack.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and data, complying with relevant security standards and policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, process enhancements, and technical innovation.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a culture of learning and development.
