About The Role

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Developer (iOS) to join a vibrant software house based in Brighton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer who is passionate about creating high-quality, polished mobile applications. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, creative environment, contributing to the development of innovative iOS solutions. The position involves designing, building, and maintaining iOS applications using Swift, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences. The role offers a flexible work arrangement, with four days in the office and one day remote, fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in iOS development, with proven experience in designing and implementing mobile applications. Essential qualifications include proficiency in Swift and familiarity with SwiftUI for creating modern, intuitive user interfaces. A strong understanding of software design principles, particularly SOLID, is necessary to develop scalable and maintainable code. Experience working with RESTful APIs for backend integration is required. Knowledge of memory management, multi-threading, and performance optimization techniques is essential to ensure smooth app performance. Additionally, familiarity with Android development using Kotlin is considered a plus, demonstrating versatility across mobile platforms. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

The Mid-Level iOS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications that meet high standards of quality and performance. Key responsibilities include translating UI/UX designs into functional applications using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring responsiveness and usability across devices.
