Role: - Project Manager

Location: - Melbourne (On-site)

Status- 12 Months Full-Time Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION: -

We are seeking the profile of a Project Manager for one of our clients based in Melbourne. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. This role oversees cross‑functional teams, manages stakeholder expectations, mitigates risks, and ensures all project deliverables meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, provide clear updates and ensure alignment.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and oversee project closure, documentation, and handover.
• Drive strong governance practices, ensuring compliance with organizational processes, reporting standards, and audit requirements.
• Act as a customer‑facing leader who builds trust, manages expectations effectively, and represents project outcomes confidently to senior business stakeholders.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Proven experience in delivering medium-to-large-scale projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Background in managing projects within frameworks such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience in project financials, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Exceptional customer‑facing communication skills
• Strong governance mindset with experience in structured reporting, compliance, and assurance activities.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse cross‑functional teams, driving alignment and shared ownership of outcomes.
