Remote Web Developer

In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and enhancing the public-facing website, ensuring it operates smoothly and meets compliance standards. You will engage in various aspects of the website's lifecycle, from environment setup to deployment, and guarantee integration with existing applications. Your contributions will provide users with valuable functionalities such as decision trees and document uploads, ultimately enhancing the user experience. Accountabilities

• Operate, maintain, and update the agency’s public website for stability and usability.
• Implement Section 508 accessibility standards across web content and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain decision-tree logic for guiding applicants through workflows.
• Maintain agency information, announcements, and resources on the website.
• Integrate features with existing applications to support secure application intakes and data workflows.
• Develop and update web components and pages considering architecture.
• Support environment setup for all phases of development.
• Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution for the website.
• Ensure enhancements comply with cybersecurity and privacy requirements.
• Assist in developing and updating ATO packages and documentation.
• Document technical reviews, change requests, and configurations.
• Participate in planning and reporting for program activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of web development experience.
• Experience with Box.com and Salesforce integration.
• Certification or verifiable training with Box.com and Salesforce.
• Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to maintain secure web environments compliant with cybersecurity standards.
• Understanding of API integration and data exchange workflows.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
