AWS Platform Engineer (Contract)

📍 Lithuania – Hybrid (Vilnius / Kaunas)

💶 Up to €60 per hour

📅 6-month rolling contract | Start ASAP | Full-time

We’re hiring an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join a large-scale cloud transformation programme within a major enterprise environment. You’ll be part of a tech enablement team focused on building a modern, compliant AWS-based data platform while reducing legacy dependencies.

This is a hands-on engineering role with strong influence over cloud architecture, DevOps standards, and platform evolution.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing cloud-native architecture on AWS
• Working with services such as Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS
• Building infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
• Developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Improving monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Collaborating closely with architects, developers, and data engineers
• Contributing to continuous improvement across platform and processes

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud/platform engineering
• Strong hands-on AWS experience
• Solid background in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker)
• Scripting experience (Bash or PowerShell preferred)
• Python exposure is a plus
