Senior User Experience Designer

AROBS is looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the design and evolution of next-generation user experiences for the Summit UI Revamp and Front Office Workstations modernization programs.

The candidate will shape complex, high-performance user interfaces used by traders, sales, risk managers, and operations teams. As a senior contributor, you will bring strong UX leadership, deep workflow modeling skills, and mastery of modern UX tools to translate intricate functional flows into intuitive, scalable designs. You will collaborate closely with functional product owners, UI developers, architects, and clients, ensuring your design vision is executed with precision and consistency.

Responsibilities

UX Design & Prototyping:

- Produce high-fidelity screens, interaction patterns, and reusable components in Figma.

- Develop interactive prototypes using Smart Animate and micro-interactions.

- Ensure pixel-perfect designs aligned with FO performance constraints.

Workflow Mapping & User Journeys:

- Translate step-by-step functional descriptions into optimized workflows using FigJam or Miro.

- Create journey maps, task flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes

Client Interaction & Feedback Integration:

- Present designs using Figma prototypes or structured walkthroughs.

- Conduct usability testing and synthesize findings for iterative improvements

Collaboration & Delivery:

- Work with UI engineers working on Angular/React-based front ends.

- Maintain documentation through Confluence or SharePoint.

- Provide component specifications using Figma Inspect.

Quality, Consistency & Governance:

- Drive UX consistency with design tokens, component libraries, and patterns.

- Benchmark design against best-in-class enterprise and trading platforms.

- Ensure accessibility compliance and ergonomic design

Required Qualifications

Core UX Tools & Technologies:

- Figma (advanced): components, variables, design systems, prototyping.

- FigJam, Miro, or equivalent workflow tools.

- Usability testing tools: Maze, UserTesting, UserZoom.

- Familiarity with WCAG2ICT accessibility standards, design tokens, responsive UI principles.

Domain & Technical Understanding:

- Experience designing for complex enterprise applications.

- Strong understanding of FO workstation workflows and real-time interfaces.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to articulate design decisions clearly.

- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience contributing to scalable design systems.

- Knowledge of heuristic evaluation, A/B testing, or UX research methods.

- Familiarity with prototyping transitions using After Effects or similar tools.
