Moët Hennessy Sweden is recruiting for a Junior Brand Manager based in Stockholm, reporting to the Senior Brand Manager Sweden.
NB: the position is an entry level position.
The Junior Brand Manager will be responsible for operational marketing in the Swedish market, developing and executing local brand strategy and concept in line with global brand platforms. The JBM will support in the execution of strategic brand initiatives within the region to achieve targeted equity, sales & profit KPI’s. The JBM will be responsible for co-developing and sharing best practices and frameworks to help drive efficiencies across cross-functional teams and the Nordic region.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with SBM to define key strategic marketing initiatives and support implementation and analysis
- Support and manage brand planning to identify strategies & priorities for designated brands for the Swedish market
- Be accountable for the development, implementation and control of 360 brand engagement activities based on positioning and latest brand guidelines through close collaboration with SBM, MH teams, third party suppliers & agencies
- Oversee the roll out of key flagships as well as smaller activations across Sweden and creating best practices
- Take full ownership of assigned products and drive their successful launch and activations in the Swedish market
- Oversee and arrange POSM orders and usage, including regular strategic reviews of inventory
- Adopt a challenger mindset and actively research inspiration & ideas from various sources
Business driven decision making and efficient A&P management
- Co-manage A&P budget on a regular basis via meticulous follow-up on expenses, quotes, invoices and tracking tools
- Continually assess cost effectiveness and agency performance
Collaboration cross departments & externally
- Lead ad-hoc cross functional projects at Nordic level to drive organisational efficiency and synergies
- Foster cross functional understanding, collaboration and alignment with sales, finance and supply chain departments
- Build strong relationships with Trade customers to drive unified executions and support trade commitments
- Maintain a strong presence in key trade channels to understand consumer trends and needs, and ensure compliance with Swedish alcohol advertising laws and regulations
Communication
- Act as brand ambassador for communication and custodianship of brand equity internally
- Co-responsibility for any local creative development, including agency briefing, monitoring of campaigns’ KPIs and reporting
- Establish a strong relationship with Maisons, supporting with pitching projects, reporting developments, and obtaining approvals where applicable
The IDEAL Candidate
Qualification, experience & skills
- Ideally 3 years of brand marketing experience and trade/field experience
- Local market/industry knowledge
- Knowledge of luxury brand building, curiosity for disruptive experiences and an eye for excellence in execution
- Well-organised with attention to detail, should be able to work on numerous tasks/projects simultaneously
- Analytical, structured, and able to work towards long and short-term goals
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building
- Self-motivated, energetic, agile, proactive and ambitious
- Able to take ownership and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player who can work effectively as a part of a multi-functional team
- University degree within marketing and/ or business is a plus
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Swedish would be a strong plus
