Position Overview

The CISO will lead enterprise-wide Cyber Security, Governance and risk management. This position includes a combined responsibility of cyber security leadership, compliance oversight, and partnership with our legal and privacy teams. Reporting to the CIO (part of Group Management), the CISO defines and drives the cyber security strategy to protect the organization’s digital assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the business in all security-related matters, including leading our IT Crisis Management capability. You will be part of the IT Management team and play an active role in the Data Privacy Office to support in privacy governance and compliance activities, ensuring alignment between cybersecurity and privacy requirements.

Within the Cyber Security function, the CISO operates through a virtual security operations model, partnering with a highly skilled IT Security Lead and external partners who manage day-to-day and technical security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise cyber security strategy, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements,
• Oversee security governance, policies, risk management, and continuous improvement of the company’s security posture across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and operations,
• Drive compliance with applicable digital regulations and standards, with a strong current focus on NIS2,
• As a member of the Group Privacy Office, partner with Legal to ensure data protection and privacy compliance across all operating countries, including privacy-by-design and medical device cyber security requirements,
• Lead IT Crisis Management, providing executive leadership during major cyber incidents and coordinating internal and external stakeholders,
• Ensure incident response frameworks, crisis playbooks, and communication plans are maintained, tested, and continuously improved,
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on cyber risk, secure digital development, and compliance,
• Enable secure and compliant digitalization and innovation by supporting the adoption of new technologies and clearly communicating complex security topics,
• Partner closely with the IT Security Lead, virtual security operations teams, and external partners to ensure effective security delivery,
• Drive a strong culture of security awareness and shared responsibility across the organization.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Several years of experience in senior cyber security roles, ideally with strategic or managerial responsibility,
• Strong understanding of modern cyber threats, risk management, security governance, and security architecture,
• Experience working with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, GDPR, and security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.),
• Knowledge of Medical cyber security regulations for medical product,
• Experience in incident response and crisis management at an organizational level,
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with understanding of technical security,
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business, IT, and legal functions.
