Job Responsibilities :

• To guide the IT team in designing and testing of the GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) & Application Suvidha Provider (ASP) portal.
• To develop GST knowledge content viz. guidance notes, FAQs, News Updates etc for GSP/ASP portal.
• To give reply to queries received on E-Helpdesk.
• To assist in conducting webinars & seminars.
• To assist in conducting training of indirect tax & marketing teams.
• To perform other indirect tax function as entrusted.
  
  
  

Job Purpose:

To provide strategic and operational leadership for Accounts Payable and Commercial functions, ensuring robust governance, risk mitigation, compliance excellence, and scalable processes aligned with business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and governance for Accounts Payable and Commercial accounting across locations or business units.
• Define and enforce accounting policies, SOPs, approval frameworks and control standards for AP and commercial transactions.
• Ensure high standards of statutory compliance, including GST, audit requirements and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee financial closures, ensuring consistency, accuracy and predictability of AP and commercial balances.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in procurement, legal, treasury and business teams on commercial structuring, contract implications, and risk assessment.
• Review and interpret complex commercial arrangements and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardisation, automation and ERP optimisation
• Lead audit interactions, address observations and ensure closure of audit points within defined timelines.
• Build leadership depth within the team through mentoring, succession planning and performance management.
• Provide strategic insights on payables, working capital optimisation, vendor risk and commercial exposures to finance leadership.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance; CA/CMA preferred.
• 12–18 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and commercial accounting, including multi-team or multi-unit leadership.
• Strong expertise in GST, statutory compliance, audit management and complex commercial accounting.
• Experience driving transformation initiatives and managing large-scale ERP environments.
  
  
  

Strong strategic thinking, governance orientation and senior stakeholder engagement skills.

• A candidate with following experience and qualification is desirable;

• Excellent soft skills.
• Self-driven with leadership qualities to motivate and lead the unit members.
