Game Designer

Company- Appsoleut Games is a passion-driven, fast-growing mobile gaming studio based out of Gurgaon, India. Our MISSION is to soon become a leader in the mobile gaming industry, internationally. We develop vehicle-based games in the simulation, driving, and racing genres. Our games have made us proud by consistently staying in the Top 30 games in the Racing category in the USA and beating (momentarily!) Nintendo Mario Kart in Japan! We are a fun-loving, open- minded company and encourage our team to have a voice. We have a strong user base of millions and are now looking for a ‘Game Designer' to help us reach the next level.

Job Summary – As a Game Designer, you will design new mobile games, from scratch. You will work on the concept of the game along with the level design, its characters, and anything that is required to design a complete the game. You will also define the way the game is played and the 'game experience’. You will be closely working with the team like, Developers Programmers, Testers, Artists, and Animators.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Create new game ideas and outline plots and storylines.
• Solid understanding of popular mobile, casual, and social games –recognizes what makes them fun. Understand current game design concepts, prototyping, non-linear storytelling, core loops, USP, etc.
• Must be an avid gamer and play games across genres and platforms.
• Time manager& decision-making abilities.
• Understands game analytics. Use a metrics-driven approach to game design, learning from users, as you drive retention, virality, and monetization into the game’s design.

Requirements-

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Should have knowledge of Unity Engine
• Must be highly creative and have storytelling ability.
• Passion for video games& knowledge of gaming trends
• Excellent programming skills
• Ability to work on a team.
